Dr Lo Chi-hang obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Electrical Engineering (first class honours) and his Doctor of Philosophy from the Department of Electrical Engineering of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1999 and 2003 respectively.
Prior to joining HKCC, Dr Lo was a research associate in the Department of Electrical Engineering of PolyU from 2003 to 2004. He was responsible for establishing a Linux cluster for parallel evolutionary computation under different parallel topologies. His research interests include application of evolutionary computation to optimal power flow problem, parallel processing applications to power system optimization, fuzzy control, and multi-objective optimization.
