Dr Adam Wong is a Senior Lecturer of the Division of Science, Engineering and Health Studies, and a Programme Director of PolyU-SPEED award programmes. He has over 20 years of experience in the Information Technology industry. Before joining this institution in 2002, he had worked for international companies such as Acer, Philips, Hewlett-Packard and PCCW. His professional experience includes system development, database support, e-commerce and project management.
He obtained his Doctor in Business Administration and MSc in Strategic Planning from Heriot-Watt University, MSc in Information Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and BSc from The University of Hong Kong. He has 20 years of teaching experience in various areas covering business strategy, human resource management, research workshops, computer programming, computer security and e-commerce.
Dr Wong has presented research papers in international conferences and implemented government-funded research and education enhancement projects. His research interests lie in training, education, digital marketing, cloud computing and machine learning.
