Sr Dr Sandy Tang is a council member of the Quantity Surveying (QS) Division of The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors and the Scheme Leader of the BSc (Hons) Scheme in Surveying and Built Environment of PolyU SPEED. She steers the development of undergraduate programmes and professional training courses in the field of surveying and the built environment. She was the Head of the Office of General University Requirements (GUR) of PolyU, overseeing student advising and coordinating GUR at the University.

 

Dr Tang had extensive experience in project management and QS practice in Hong Kong and mainland China before joining this institution. Her expertise and recent research interest cover the areas of competitive bidding, procurement, forecasting and contract administration. She is interested to pursue cross-disciplinary research to reveal practice and policy in the construction industry.
