Dr Keith Lin joined PolyU CPCE in 2011 and graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Master of Philosophy degree in Sociology in the same year. While working at PolyU CPCE, he completed his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Sociology at the University of Leicester. In his PhD research, he adopted the eventful perspective and interactionist approach to study the construction of subjectivity in collection actions. He argues that personal biography, reflexivity, and subjective experiences play significant roles in the construction of subjectivity.
Before joining PolyU CPCE, Dr Lin worked as a research assistant at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where he obtained his Master of Science degree.
His scholarly interests include Microsociology, collective emotion, reflexivity, identity, and subjectivity.
